NEW NICKNAME?

Dear M-Droid,

I have scans for about 200 of the pre-online Sonic comics. Just wondering if you wanted them, or would there be some sort of legal issue? Found 'em online at various points of searching, but some of them aren't complete. but if you wanted to make an "Old Backlogs" Section, this'll be a nice boost, eh? You'd have something for any kiddies too young to have read the originals, like me. And it'd save them the trouble of finding all the comics like I did. Curse you and your awesome site, making me interested in a comic that wasn't even printed in my country

M-Droid? Is that what I'd be called if I did a rap career? If my staff party karaoke is anything to go by though, I may want to take the Shatner route instead! (Young Boomers, ask your folks about that one!)

You can rest assured that each and every member of the STCO team has an extensive collection of their own of the fabled comic. We can't display them on the site for various reasons, mostly the men in suits with hammers threatening to break our Editor Hume's fingers if he does.

ONE ISSUE OF SEPARATION

Dear Megadroid,

I'm pretty impressed by the fact that I'm one of the overseas fans of StC. But back to business. Upon reading your newest comic, I am utterly shocked to see that Fabian Vane is still singing terribly across all of Mobius. And considering that you'll be posting an issue of the comic on Sonic's (and Robotnik's) birthday, I'm just impressed to see how far the little guy has come from just a few games on the Genesis/MegaDrive. And putting the previous comic into consideration, if Ebony & Pyjamas know Blaze, then does that mean they know Silver as well?

I take it back. If Fabian can succeed, I'll be raking in the awards in no time. I swear, Mobians must have even worse musical taste than the British public these days, folks.

It's funny you ask about Silver in the issue that he débuts! As you can see, he's clearly from the far future, so Ebony and Pyjamas won't know him yet. Not unless they've had a run in with a blue police-box anyway.

NEED TO KNOW BASIS

Dear Megadroid,

Hi again! It's me, Luca. I was just writing to say that your comic is one of the best I've ever read (just after the original STC, of course) and to ask something: Will there be a Sonic Battle adaptation? You know, the one with Emerl. If so, please let me know.

Luca

Sonic the Hedgehog

As I always say, nice to see a returning Boomer's face. (Or their email address anyway) I do always look back on the old days fondly myself...mostly the office. They had a canteen and everything! This current one just has a small kettle in the corner and no Hume ever bothers to refill it. The nerve!

Sonic Battle is a near and dear little story to many fans and indeed, to many of the staff here at STCO. Generally with adaptations, we try to find a good reason for it, rather than simply do it "cos we can." So you can rely on that if we ever do use it, it'll have a big unique spin on it like we've done with previous adaptations.

UM...

Dear MEGADOLT,

OMG. Why did you stop Sonic answering letters like back in the real comic near the end!?!? He was at least 20% cooler than you, Megafail! Me and all the TRUE fans of the Blue Blur demand he be put back in charge! We are the real PASSION of the fanbase! We've even set up a BETTER convention than your silly Summer of Sonic one with guests like me! The Number 1 fan ever! And we got all the episodes of Sonic Underground to show as well! So you can go to your little failcon while we have our totally l337 one! Your quality is a lie! Just like the cake! LOL!

You see what I have to put up with Boomers? Don't listen to some silly fan boy, come to Summer of Sonic this weekend and meet the STCO team in real life. We're all so much nicer and open to chat there, provided no-one mentions the incident with the goat. I may not be able to appear myself, because SOMEONE needs to stay at the Office and keep working on the next issue while all the Humes go off and have their fun in London...

It's a Droids life...
