Hey Boomers!
The halls are decked, and the crackers are out — it’s time to ring in another Christmas with STC! And trust this time of year to bring old friends – and fiends – out of the woodwork: not only does this issue feature Robotnik’s dramatic return in a new 2-part Sonic story The Syndicate, but the long-awaited return of Knuckles starts today in Reunion!
Those who are spotting classic creative humes won’t have to look far the new year. In 2004 A.D. it’s the year for Nigel Kitching and Richard Elson on the comic “2000 A.D.” when their thrilling new series “A.H.A.B.” makes waves. Less good news for those who enjoyed Roberto Corona’s “Manuwahi” though, as the Dark Horse Strip Search site has sadly been closed. At least “Manuwahi” colourist and all-round art whiz Nigel Dobbyn has updated his site.
The hume Christmas party is about to begin so all I’ve got left to say is:
HAVE A COOL YULE AND AN AMAZING NEW YEAR!
The Story So Far…
For years, the evil Doctor Robotnik ruled Planet Mobius. With his Troopers and robot slaves, he terrorised the population. Eventually, Sonic and the gang defeated Robotnik and freed the planet.

Amy Rose
Although Amy first met Sonic when she was claiming to be Sonic’s girlfriend, she has since proved a hero in her own right with her trusty crossbow. She has a wicked sense of humour and loves winding Sonic up!
Knuckles
Knuckles is the sole guardian of the Floating Island and its powerful Chaos Emeralds — but he has no memory of his lost people.
Tikal
A seer from the ancient echidna race who was trapped with the terrifying Chaos creature for 8000 years. Tikal has finally been freed.
Porker Lewis
Although he was once the technological whiz of Sonic’s gang, Porker lost his nerve after being held hostage on an alien planet for a month.
Ebony
This cat with magical talent follows her instincts — even though this once involved harbouring a demon capable of destroying the planet!
